Francis J. Parrott, 82, of Carlisle, a retired fisherman, died Friday in D'Youville Manor Nursing Home in Lowell.

Born in Salmonere, Newfoundland, Mr. Parrott attended schools in Newfoundland and a fisherman since he was 13. He came to this country in 1929 and settled in Somerville. He worked as a fisherman on various boats out of Atlantic Avenue at the Commonwealth Pier in Boston for 54 years. He also was employed for a short time a custodian at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston.

Mr. Parrott lived in Somerville until 1942, when he moved to Arlington, where he lived until 1973l He then moved to Acton, and was a resident of Carlisle since 1976.

He leaves three sons, Francis J. Jr. of Billerica, David J. of Foxborough, and William J. Parrott of Dallas; two daughters, Mary Lovely of Easton, and Susan M. Reilly of Carlisle; three sisters; two brothers; and seven grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Tuesday. June 2, in St. Irene's Church, Carlisle. Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Carlisle.

She served as a stalwart member of the "Education First" movement in the late 1970's. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother, a Girl Scout Brownie Mom, and faithful Catechist. She also served as a Eucharistic Minister at Holy Cross Catholic Church in South Easton, where she was a loyal parishioner for many years. Mary will be remembered for her affable personality, stewardship, warm smile, and unwavering Christian Faith. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Federal and State emergency, a private graveside service will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Taunton, MA. After many years of declining health, Judy found comfort and care at the Southwood Nursing Facility. Born in Boston to the late George and Catherine (Gormely) Mahoney, Judy's older sister Kathleen Mahoney Patrick predeceased her.

Judy married Clayton Parrott at a young age and raised six children: Susan, Catherine, Steven, Tim, Jude and her youngest son Terry Ryan who predeceased her. She was the grandmother of 11 grandchildren: Nicholas, Victoria, Keith, Annie, Alana, Dylan, Ethan, Jaiana, TJ, Nicholas, and Kendra.

Her decades-long career at Stop & Shop first in Rockland and then in Abington proved that hard work really does pay off. Beginning as an entry-level cashier and then working her way into the floral department, Judy was again promoted to inventory management before an untimely work-related-accident ended her impressive career.

Judy's family will honor her end-of-life-wishes and gather privately to commemorate her passing. The family would like to thank the many neighbors, friends and professionals who helped Judy throughout her life, especially during her last years.

22. Francis J. Parrott Jr. (Francis Joseph², John¹) was born on 12 Jun 1939 in Arlington, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts and died on 2 Dec 2019 in Haverhill, Essex Co., Massachusetts at age 80.

General Notes: Francis J. Parrott, Jr. age 80, a former resident of the Carter Green Condominium Complex, passed away at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill on Monday, December 2, 2019.

He was the beloved husband of Monette O. (Adamantiadis) Parrott, who passed away on November 18, 2018.

Born in Arlington on June 12, 1939, he was the son of the late Francis J. Parrott and the late Mary (Bolt) Parrott.

Frank was raised in Arlington, graduated from Arlington High School, and attended Northeastern University.

In 1961, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served during the Vietnam War.

He resided in Tewksbury for 25 years until recently moving to Chelmsford.

Frank was a member of the Litho Club and enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by his two sons, Francis J. Parrott, III and his wife Cathy Merrifield of Nashua, NH and Michael A. Parrott and his wife Julie Lloyd Parrott of Framingham; two grandchildren, Chelsea D. and Nicholas A. Parrott both of Nashua, NH; siblings, David Parrott and his wife Emily of Romney, NH, Bill Parrott and his wife Joan of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Lovely of Cape Cod, and Susan Reilly of Yarmouth; also many extended family members.

23. Ryan Terry Parrott (Clayton Nicholas³, Nicholas John², John¹) was born on 25 Mar 1987 and died on 18 Sep 2015 in Lowell, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts at age 28.

General Notes: Ryan T. Parrott, age 28, of Lowell, died unexpectedly on Sept. 18, 2015. He was born in Stoughton, March 25, 1987.

Ryan loved to cook, and worked as a chef at Bickfords in Burlington and Woburn. He was fan of the Red Sox and Patriots.

He leaves a daughter, Kendra Parrott-Wool of Lowell; and a step-son, Christopher Bourret Wool of Lowell; Kendra's grand-parents, Todd Wool and Donna St. Ours of Lowell; his girlfriend, Kristina D'Annolfo, of Tyngsboro; as well as his adoptive family, mother, Judith A. Parrott; siblings Susan Rockwood, Steven Parrott, Catherine Thurston, Greg Parrott and his girlfriend Stephanie Merceri, Jude and her husband Mark Papineau as well as a younger brother who was also adopted by a different family.

Ryan was pre-deceased by Brittany Wool of Lowell.

General Notes: LOWELL -- Brittany M. Wool, age 26, a lifelong resident of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 22, 2015.

She was born in Lowell, July 6, 1989, beloved daughter of Todd Wool and Donna St. Ours of Lowell.

She enjoyed hairdressing and volunteered at the Greenhalge School.

Besides her parents, she is survived by a son, Christopher Bourret Wool, and a daughter, Kendra Parrott-Wool; a sister, Ashley Wool, all of Lowell; a brother, Justin Wool of Nashua; three nephews, Alex Wool, Brodie and Aidan McCarthy; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
